Enjoyable story in a sturdy and well printed book.

(Note: I haven't read the original separate books so can't compare)

Content: The anime has followed this manga quite closely at this stage, so if you liked the anime, you'll like this. The English translation feels well done - even the important sounds effects have a translation done in the same style so blends in nicely.

Book: I'm pleasantly surprised how sturdy the book is for such a thick book. The spine hasn't cracked and no pages have come loose on my first read through. It's well printed - no ink has rubbed off on my hands or got smeared.

Overall: Really pleased with the quality for a cheap price (and less shipping internationally) and will definitely pre-order the second omnibus.

No Color Pages? Seriously?

Understand that the first 3 Volumes of Mayo Chiki are jam packed into one of three omnibus collection for the Price of $19.99 Retail - Without Color Pages. Seriously, there are no color pages. They did color pages for Freezing (2-in-1 Volumes, Same Price), why not this one? The publisher isn't doing well recently so please wait on your purchases until they can recover. Of course with every omnibus comes the fear of breaking the spine and having the pages fly all over. You will not get through this without a broken spine at the end.

Mayo Chiki! is a great series. Even though they are releasing it fresh, the series is slowly dying off. Sad to see it go. Get the individual volumes before they are gone. WAIT ON THIS OMNIBUS COLLECTION. No matter what purchase of this series - you will enjoy it.

Good Book

Interesting indeed. The first few chapters are a bit dry. Ms. King delivers a great argument but I believe it would have been better presented if she would have given a brief lesson on the symbolism so readers can follow her thesis. I liked it, it's a bit complicated for the novice to understand but overall, a good read.

About the Author

Colin Gillespie is Senior lecturer (Associate professor) at Newcastle University, UK. He has been running R courses for over five years at a variety of levels, ranging from beginners to advanced programming. During his academic career, he has also been employed as an external consultant at Shell, Burberry, Yorkshire Bank, KPMG, and Tesco Bank. His research interests are high performance statistical computing and Bayesian statistics.

Robin Lovelace is a Research Fellow in the Leeds Institute for Data Analytics, which specializes in the handling of large data sets. Robin has five years using R for academic research and three years teaching R at all levels. Robin developed the popular tutorial "Introduction to visualizing spatial data in R" and is working to publish "Spatial microsimulation with R" (CRC Press). Robin has used R on mission-critical contracts, including the creation of a nationally scalable interactive online mapping tool for the UK’s Department for Transport (DfT).

Julian Wilson lived in Hong Kong for twelve years, where he worked as an editor, journalist and photographer for, among others, 'Time Life' and the 'Hong Kong Standard'. A more thorough account

There have been many books written about Smith Wigglesworth and I own them all. And even though George Stormont was a friend of mine and I will always treasure the autographed copy he gave me of his book on Smith, this book shed more light on Smith and was more thorough than any of the others. He truly was a remarkable man, Smith Wigglesworth. His life and ministry continues to inspire Christians even today. Great book.

Great book- very poor kindle version

The actual written contents if this book is excellent. In fact one of the best stories about smith wiggles worth ever written.

BUT the whole book is ruined by a really poor transfer to kindle which spoils it.

Here are the issues.

1. Table of contents is there but does not link to the chapters. In other words it is a list of static text.

2. The first letter of some words appears separate above the rest of the word.

3. The actual photographs are missing that the paper book includes.

4. The front cover is missing so we don't see the nice artwork the paper book has.

If it wasn't for being a big fan of Mr Wigglesworth I would have sent this back.
