To Do What I Love

This book has given me the information I need to pursue my passions as an author and social entrepreneur. The author offers practical advice for developing a plan for starting second careers. We just need to be intelligent about it, and if married with children, garner the prayers and support of our loved ones. I learned there is nothing worse than having a passion for something and not doing what is necessary to pursue and actualize it. I'm more determined than ever to make my dreams come true.

The Inspiration Needed To Dominate During Tough Economic Times.

I discovered Career Renegade a couple months ago and my current career outlook has never been more clear. This book provides both the motivational case studies of successful Renegades as well as links to the tools and resources that will allow the noob Renegades to get the ball rolling. So many books shell out advice telling you WHAT to do but never HOW to do it. This is where Career Renegade shines.
Whether you want to leave your job and go out on your own or you want to carve your dream job from your current position --this book is for you.
I highly recommend to all of my friends trying to find themselves, in the 'career' sense of the word. Young professionals, recent grads, or anyone looking for a career upgrade get this book.

The reviews on Amazon can be so...confusing! I will happily end any confusion regarding this book: it's fantastic! After reading decades of books that purport to help people "find inspiration" to strike out on their own, Jonathan Fields, a former attorney who had the balls to leave his law firm and open a successful yoga studio, gives you ample instruction on how to REALLY do it. His information about entrepreneurship is dead-on-accurate, and unlike so many other books in this genre he never occludes MONEY from the equation. If you are ready to blaze your own path, this lightweight book will provide you with heavyweight information and an abundance of resources to help make it happen.
